04.11.1938 Towed Danish Schooner  "Nordstjernen" into the safety of Pierowall Bay, Westray Orkney. Schooner lost two masts in severe gale, all seven crew safe.
06.1940 Requisitioned and converted to Armed Patrol Vessel
