10.12.1920 Towed 3 masted Dutch schooner "Verona" to Granton. Schooner was found abandoned 60 miles ESE from Dunbar. Schooner had sailed from Leith on 23rd November with a cargo of coal bound for Drammen Norway. Vessel was found to have lost her rudder. It is presumed that the rudder was damaged during a severe storm the previous week.

24.03.1922 Rescued crew of S.T. "Standard" GN 87 which had foundered 60 miles east of May Island. Crew of nine took to the small boat all landed safely in Leith.
