19.03.1933 Sunk following a collision with  S.S. "Atheltarn " (1179g/1929) in heavy seas during a snow storm, 104 miles NE x E from Aberdeen.  8 out of the 10 crew drowned, including brothers William & Donald Falconer.  "Succession" sank in 2 minutes. All except the two men who survived were below.
The survivors landed at Aberdeen  by S.S. "Atheltarn " were
